Wi-Fi Jamming
Wi-Fi Jammer Detector is a small, Ethernet-connected device which monitors the Wi-Fi and Radio Frequency signals in the air to detect nearby Wi-Fi Jammers. Wi-Fi Jammer Detector will alert you remotely via Push Notification and E-mail if a threat turns on a Wi-Fi jammer near your installation location. Detection range is around 100-feet for moderate to weak jammers, and even further for strong jammers.
For additional coverage, Wi-Fi Jammer Detector also monitors for deauthentication flood attacks which attackers can use to knock your wireless devices (such as cameras and doorbells) offline.
Most home (and small business) security systems rely on wireless signals to function, making them susceptible to jamming attacks. Criminals can be “ghosts” to your existing alarm and Wi-Fi-camera systems when armed with signal jammers; these illegal devices have been increasing in popularity, and counter-measures are not keeping up. While jamming attacks cannot be prevented (unless you hard-wire everything), we believe detection is the next best step.
Wi-Fi Jammer Detector uses Ethernet connectivity to ensure that notifications can get out during Wi-Fi outages; for additional safety and peace-of-mind, you will also get alerts if your detector goes offline for any reason (for example a power or internet outage).

How it Works
Wi-Fi jammers blast the airwaves with extreme interference in the Wi-Fi radio frequency range, these noisy signals disrupt Wi-Fi devices like your cameras and doorbells from communicating normally with your router. Wi-Fi Jammer Detector passively monitors for these illegal signals 24/7 with Intelligent RF Monitoring and picks up on the Wi-Fi interference; if a jammer is turned on which is affecting the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi operation, our detector will automatically send an alert to notify you remotely while jamming is taking place.
Another attack vector criminals can use to disable your wireless devices is a deauthentication flood attack. Deauthentication is a normal part of the Wi-Fi protocol, but hackers can forge these commands to fool your devices into disconnecting from your router repeatedly to effectively disable them. Wi-Fi Jammer Detector monitors for these attacks and also alerts you if they occur.

The Wi-Fi Jammer Detector is mainly intended to be a hands-off experience, with the detector monitoring 24/7 and ready to send you alerts whenever something of interest occurs; you hardly need to use the App beyond setting up and configuring your detector. However, for those who have an interest in diving deeper into the data, the App shows you four key metrics which help you understand the current state of your wireless environment, as well as 24-hour histories of it.
For those who want even more insights, the newly introduced Pro Web Portal offers the capability to see historical data up to 30-days in the past as well as some lower-level metrics which are not exposed in the mobile App such as the RF power measurements, Wi-Fi beacon counts, RSSI stats, and more!

Wi-Fi Jammer Detector has a built-in Radio Frequency (RF) detector, Wi-Fi Radio, and specialized software which monitors the airwaves for illegal Wi-Fi jammers and Wi-Fi deauthentication flood attacks. Simply download and install the mobile App to your iOS or Android phone or tablet, ensure push-notification and Bluetooth permissions are granted to the app (and make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device), power on the detector with a USB cable, ensure the detector is plugged in to your network via Ethernet, and use the app to link the detector to your account and enjoy 24/7 coverage to get alerted if a Wi-Fi jammer is being used around your installation site (100-ft radius in typical installations for weak to moderate jammers, even further for strong jammers).
